One of the things that I (and I think many others) have liked about SD's entry into this market is the woderfully uncluttered nature of the maps.

If other items are to be added please ensure we can toggle them on and off.

I agree that the quality of weather dat is improving all the time and the Met Office's latest iphone app showing radar forecast is excellent. On a 5" screen used for navigation do we really want that on it? On a big screen in a Cirrus with Avidyne real time data its a different matter .. and very good it is too! But its a far cry from the flying most of us do!!

Hi guys,

Another feature that would have been useful on yesterdays flight:

1) Radar overlay on map

2) Cloud overlay on map

3) TS overlay on map

I suspect in an *emergency* we might leave 3g enabled to update this weather information...
